I am a designer living in Pittsboro NC. I went to NCSU for design and graduated in 2009 with dual degrees in Graphic and Industrial design. I have worked as a UX / UI designer for the last 5 years, for companies such as Red Storm, IBM, CTG, and Expion. I am currently a freelance UX / UI consultant and a freelance designer.
I just finished up a project designing and implementing a complete mobile app across 3 platforms (web, android, iOS) called Droparoo. The entire project was a 8 person team with 2 designers including myself. It was a first for me in terms of the level of creative control, and the emphasis the rest of the team placed on design (as it should be). Besides my professional life, I love cars, paintball, and dork stuff. I play Magic the gathering,have watched every episode of Star Trek multiple times, and know every line in Star Wars by heart. My friends and I go to Dragon Con every year and I don't see that ending any time soon. I also own a small kitten who is named Mara Jade, (sources report she is as cute as a little tiny mitten) but everyone calls her Tiny Cat.
